TOPIC: Walking Towards Your Business Vision Using Tools Learned on The Camino

How on earth do you start when you think about your business vision? DO you even HAVE a vision for your business? What measures success for you?

This 3 week walk across Spain required obvious long term planning and commitment. Realising that the goal was not to get to Santiago de Compostela, but the journey itself, was a major factor in the growth and development of Karon as a person and as a Consciousness Coach©.

Getting out of comfort zone by taking on healthy challenges shows that we are continually evolving, and if we don’t, nasty little surprises are going to crop up to nudge us and push us in a direction we don’t want. Take on new frontiers in your business and learn how your goals need to be aligned with your values. Your values lead to your vision and purpose. High integrity with your commitments gets you to those goals. Receive some valuable tools for becoming unstuck in your personal life and your business – after all, you ARE your business.

The talk is visually interesting showing photographs of the Camino de Santiago while we learn its lessons. We will also take a peep at our Cape Camino, completed a few weeks ago, where new realizations were discovered!

ABOUT OUR GUEST SPEAKER:
Karon Wiercx from KW Coaching. Karon’s decision to become a coach was a culmination of a childhood desire to teach, an interest in Psychology and self-development and a passion for the outdoors and health. After a career in banking, real estate and mortgage finance, continual searching for mind-body-balance and stress relief led Karon to Yoga and she became a part time yoga teacher. She facilitated Artist Way groups and has actively participated in local monthly group coaching sessions since their inception 8 years ago. She is an avid non-competitive hiker. While walking the Camino De Santiago (https:karonscamino.wordpress.com) she decided to change her priorities and returned to SA, found a phenomenal CC© coach, and completed the Creative Consciousness Master trainings in Johannesburg. Karon is a Professional Consciousness Coach, a member of the Xtraordinary Women Business Network as well as a Bond Originator.

Karon offers Walking and Coaching believing that the motion and outdoor experience of putting one foot in front of the other leads one out of the questions and into the answers. She offers individual as well as group coaching and Vision Board workshops, focusing on life balance and self-empowerment, and journeying with her clients to uncover their own unique potentials. She coaches at a number of NGO’s and inspires expansion and possibility for anybody undergoing life changes on a personal or business level. Karon subscribes to the Consciousness Coaching methodology which was developed by Marc Steinberg in Germany over 20 years ago. She is based in Somerset West. www.kwcoaching.co.za

Charlotte FB picCharlotte Kemp - Speaker & Futures Alchemist

Charlotte Kemp is a professional speaker, author, social media trainer and futurist. Coming from an experience of losing a franchise business a few years ago, and still feeling the financial after shocks, she is well aware of the implications of getting business wrong as well as the thrill of seeing one’s own work succeed and get traction. In order to explore what went wrong in her business, Charlotte wrote and self-published a book called “I’m Not Afraid of the F Word, 50 Lessons learned on the way to business failure.” The subject of this books was the content for numerous motivational talks to business owners, networking groups and even MBA students. While using social media to market herself, Charlotte learned how powerful these platforms can be and soon responded to clients’ requests to teach them what she had learned about social media. Thus began a long and interesting career as a social media trainer and key noter covering many aspects such as marketing and PR, sales, networking, personal branding and more. She still owns the site LinkedInCoach.co.za and does in house LinkedIn training for corporates.
